Giovedì 14 marzo alle 18 inaugura al DoubleRoom arti visive la mostra "Con queste mani", una doppia personale dell'artista finlandese Eeva Kukkonen e della fotografa americana Erin McKinney curata da Massimo Premuda. In esposizione 12 lavori su tela frutto del workshop "Le menti che pensano, le mani che lavorano" realizzato un anno fa su invito della Casa Internazionale delle Donne di Trieste, a cui ha partecipato una classe di studenti di Edilmaster, la Scuola Edile di Trieste. Su un leggero telo nautico antivento da bandiera sono state stampate 12 fotografie di mani di donne che lavorano, dalla cucina al laboratorio medico, dalla pastorizia all'informatica, sulle quali i ragazzi hanno potuto evidenziare a ricamo il contorno delle dita o degli oggetti utilizzati, e sottolinearne graficamente le azioni. Una ricerca a più mani in cui segni e significati si sommano, stratificano e intrecciano in un'immagine collettiva che restituisce in maniera tattile e palpabile la fatica ma anche la soddisfazione del lavoro fatto con le proprie mani. Accanto a queste opere, due incisivi approfondimenti sulle ricerche personali delle artiste, mettendo così in dialogo e contrasto i graffianti lavori a cucito di Eeva Kukkonen e le caustiche fotografie di Erin McKinney.
